1. Purpose
These terms of use (“ToS”) govern access to and use of the online Siftbox service, published by WEBDIGIT.
2. Acceptance
Creating an account or using the service constitutes acceptance of these ToS and the privacy policy. If you do not accept these documents, you must not use the service.
3. Brief description of the service
Siftbox provides email organisation and prioritisation aids (including optional sync with mail providers and automated classification). Detailed scope and limits appear in product documentation and the interface.
4. User account
- You agree to provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential.
- Activity under your account is presumed to be yours unless you promptly report fraudulent use.
- The publisher may suspend or close an account for ToS breach, security risk or non-payment (if a paid offer applies).
5. Gmail, Outlook and other providers
When you connect Gmail, Outlook / Microsoft 365 or IMAP, you authorise Siftbox to access data strictly necessary for enabled features, consistent with product settings and third-party policies. You may revoke access from product settings and/or your Google or Microsoft account.
6. Prohibited uses
- Violating the law or third-party rights.
- Attempting unauthorised access to systems or data, overloading infrastructure or bypassing security measures.
- Using the service to send spam, unlawful content or malware.
- Reselling or renting access without written agreement.
7. Intellectual property
The service, its code, brands and editorial content remain owned by the publisher or its licensors. You retain your own data; the publisher receives a limited licence to host and process it for the purposes of the service.
8. Availability and changes
The service may be updated, modified or interrupted for maintenance. Unless otherwise agreed (SLA), no minimum availability is guaranteed. In a major incident, the publisher will endeavour to inform users by a reasonable channel.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the publisher is not liable for indirect damage, loss of opportunity, or data loss resulting from improper use, force majeure, or third-party failures (mail providers, network, hosts). Where the publisher’s liability is engaged, it is limited to direct damage and, for paid offers, to amounts actually paid by the user for the service in the twelve (12) months preceding the event. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law (including fraud or wilful misconduct).
10. Termination
You may delete your account using the features provided. The publisher may terminate access with reasonable notice except for serious breach. Data will be deleted or anonymised under the privacy policy and legal obligations.
11. Governing law and jurisdiction
These ToS are governed by Belgian law. Failing amicable resolution, courts of the judicial district of the publisher’s registered office (Belgium) have exclusive jurisdiction, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protections in the EU or elsewhere.
